So, finally I can blog again.
It’s been a rough couple of weeks, trips in and out of the hospital all thanks to a lovely Kidney Stone lodged in the pipe that connects my bladder and my kidney together. And due to the fact I am creating a tiny little human, they cannot do anything about the stone.
Thanks to the stone I am getting some lovely (Glamorous) side effects, constant water infections, thrush, I literally constantly feel like I need to pee. The pain is unreal – So I have been discharged from hospital – On Morphine. However I do need to be aware that if I continue to take this as recommended then as soon as I have the baby it will need to go to Neonatal to withdraw from Morphine addiction. Worst mum ever already and I haven’t even given birth! I tend to not take the 4 times a day recommended and I try to not take it at all if I can. I see my baby being taken away from me as soon as I give birth as a fast track ticket to that taboo subject… post natal depression.
In other news, we had our gender scan… And I can finally tell you all I am having……. A………. Baby. No, I’m not trying to be funny, the little bugger wouldn’t get off it’s backside for us to take a peek! I don’t know if that’s a sign it is stubborn just like mum, or a lazy sod just like dad (Who at 12.20pm is still snoozing in bed! Case and point!) So we have another one booked and hopefully the little seamonkey will be ready to open it’s legs and show us. I need to be buying little pinks or little blues!
Just a quick update… I shall blog some more when I don’t have a pile of washing to catch up on – Cleaning to do. My boyfriend tried his hardest to keep on top of the house but in between working, getting to the hospital and taking care of himself and the animals a few teenie jobs have creeped up. And I know I should rest, but I can’t help it if that nesting instinct is kicking in… right??
I shall be back soon with more ramblings and updates.
